Vision for Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Aigburth (L15) to recruit a Design & Technology Teacher for a long-term role, Monday to Friday. This position, starting in January, is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about teaching Design & Technology and helping young people develop practical and creative skills. For the right candidate, there is the possibility of being taken on permanently by the school.
Requirements
To be considered for the Design & Technology Teacher position, the school have requested:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, or relevant teaching experience in secondary Design & Technology
Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 Design & Technology
A positive attitude, patience, and strong communication skills
Confidence delivering engaging and accessible lessons to pupils aged 11–16
A willingness to learn, take initiative, and work as part of a wider school team
Happy to undertake any in-house training provided
