We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. Duties
* Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards.
* Supervise and train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and serving procedures to enhance team performance.
* Manage inventory and food production processes to maintain optimal stock levels and minimise waste.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
* Foster a positive working environment through effective team management and leadership practices.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop new menu items that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant, including dining areas and kitchen facilities.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
* Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
* Previous experience in food production or kitchen management is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with barista duties is a plus for establishments offering coffee services.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
