Dorset-based cooking and food education charity seeks someone with experience in community fundraising and setting this up within a charity. Can you share your skills and experience?

What are we looking for?
Experience in community fundraising. Have a few hours capacity each week to support the CEO and a small team of volunteers with advice and practical support. Be willing to share experiences and skills. Be a caring and friendly individual that shares the vision of the Friendly Food Club, to transform lives through transformative cooking and food sessions.
What will you be doing?
We are looking to find someone with community fundraising skills and experience that can establish and promote our community fundraising offering in order to help support more families break the cycle of food insecurity. This is not necessarily a practical fundraising role, but an advisory role to support the CEO and Board. We have already secured a 3-year Community Fund grant to help us develop our systems and structures. To grow relies on a more strategic delivery of fundraising targets. We are looking for someone who ideally Lives in Dorset (although this role can be mostly remote, so not essential) Has experience of community fundraising strategy and implementation Has experience of setting up new systems for small/medium sized charities and understand the budget restrictions. Experience of using platforms like crowdfunder and justgiving Can translate the charity strategy into fundraising results. It would be great if you had a connection to food and/or communities to understand the power of cooking and how it can transform lives.
