We are seeking an experienced Production Stream Manager with a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement to join our leadership team in Attleborough.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is a highly demanding senior role within our business. You should have proven senior management experience gained within an FMCG environment.
An effective people manager, you will be a strong leader and role model, exemplifying a best practice approach across all areas such as performance management, objective setting, coaching, and mentoring.
Job Title: Production Stream Manager
Location: Attleborough
Working Hours: 4 on 4 off - 6 am to 6 pm
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the Production team to ensure that all requisite production, safety, quality, profitability, and continuous improvement targets and standards are met.
2. Use the principles of OPEX to develop a team capable of delivering the business goals while meeting customer expectations.
3. Build a culture of behaviour-based safety with team members, reducing hazards, risks, and incidents by observing team behaviour and responding appropriately.
4. Ensure all team members have the necessary training to perform their tasks safely.
5. Create a strategic plan using the master schedule to align with business goals.
6. Build a high-performing team.
7. Maintain skill levels in the production stream as per site training standards.
8. Adopt appropriate OPEX tools and upskill the team, fostering a culture of learning.
9. Set, raise, and confirm standards across safety, quality, environmental, manufacturing, and asset management.
10. Maintain ATP in the production stream.
11. Address escalations promptly.
12. Manage projects in line with site goals and activity timelines.
You Will Need:
1. Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
2. Experience in FMCG industry with understanding of safety, quality, environmental, and asset management systems.
3. Experience in Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or OPEX.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Natural coaching ability.
6. Intermediate Food Safety knowledge.
7. Level 3 HACCP and IOSH managing safety or equivalent experience.
