A well-established school in Reading is looking to welcome a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to their pastoral team. In this role, the successful Behaviour Mentor will provide vital support to pupils requiring additional guidance, helping them remain engaged in their learning and encouraging positive behaviour throughout the school day.
This is a great opportunity for a Behaviour Mentor to make a real difference, building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families while contributing to a supportive and inclusive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver focused interventions as a Behaviour Mentor for pupils with behavioural challenges
Implement effective behaviour management strategies and tailored support plans
Work in partnership with teaching staff and the SENCO
Promote positive behaviour and support pupils' emotional wellbeingThe school benefits from excellent transport links and on-site parking for staff. You'll be joining a collaborative and supportive team, with access to continuous training and development.
