 
        Description Leader and responsible person for the day to day running and administration of the site stores CMMS Stores super user Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to ensure required capabilities are met and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules costs for both stocked and non-stocked Items Manage supplier performance, including quality, cost, and delivery metrics. Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Setting up stores service contracts for engineering and other functions on site Dealing with all invoice queries relating to all stores stock, engineering items, and service contracts for the engineering department and site Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and supply chain efficiencies. Working with the RX engineer to procure new stock items for new assets, review the existing spare part lists to understand what is already in stock and exactly what we need to order at the best cost available Create new stores locations and stock locations with support from the RX engineer if required Administer receiving into site purchasing systems and locating all stores items when re-ordered and delivered Maintaining stock levels of all tracked engineering stock items that are used and booked out to work orders by the engineering department Support the engineering team with all engineering related procurement requirements Administer receiving engineering items into the site purchasing system when delivered and issue spare part kits to the engineers Administer reports and documentation for auditable items such as permit to work and drain surveillance, etc. Administer the issuing, booking out of all consumables and PPE including the re-ordering and restocking for site Using min-max reports to re-order engineering spares and equipment Carry out monthly cycle count and enter data into the system Control of all Ladders, safety equipment and tools kept in the engineering stores that are used by engineering department Maintain standards in engineering stores using the 5S system Review the stores and associated system’s looking for improvement and stores development ideas Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications FORMAL EDUCATION: Minimum - GCSE Pass or above in English and Maths. Desired – CIPS or other relevant qualification in procurement or supply chain. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Preferably from an engineering background, to develop required technical knowledge Experience of organising and documenting an engineering store Good communication skills, able to skilfully negotiate prices with suppliers Have an engineering knowledge with regards to parts and equipment identification Be able to identify manufacturers and suppliers for parts Ability and motivation to work effectively while alone and unsupervised. TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Computer literate and good PC aptitude and skills are essential, including CMMS Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Knowledge of working with an E.A.M. system (Enterprise Asset Management) is highly beneficial Being able to read engineering drawings would be a distinct advantage.
