About the Role
PACE Infrastructure Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to support the successful delivery of complex rail infrastructure and civil engineering projects.
This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring commercial, financial, and contractual objectives are achieved across all project stages.
Key Responsibilities
Lead project budgets, cost forecasting, and financial reporting
Administer NEC contracts, including payments, variations, compensation events, and final accounts
Identify and manage commercial risks, opportunities, and change processes
Develop strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
Provide commercial guidance to project teams and support the development of junior staff
Ensure compliance with company governance and client contract requirements
Support bid and tender submissions, including pricing and contractual reviews
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in Commercial Management or Quantity Surveying within rail or civil infrastructure
Strong working knowledge of NEC contract forms
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
Commercially astute with a proactive and collaborative mindset
Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (MRICS preferred)
