The main role details Read, evaluate and action letters/correspondence to doctors:- letters from OPD clinics, A&E, Opticians, Ambulance, Patients and hospital dischargesall correspondence checked:- Name, address, new diagnosis,medication changes, repeat blood tests and referrals. These are then highlighted and sent to the appropriate department for actioning. Any letters of concern e.g DNA appointments, social services reports, police reports etc are forwarded to the GP's.
