We are currently partnering with a highly respected organisation that is looking to appoint an experienced Infrastructure Team Leader to play a key role in shaping and developing its IT infrastructure function. The Opportunity
As Infrastructure Team Leader, you will lead a team of seven infrastructure professionals, overseeing the delivery, performance, and continuous improvement of the company's core IT systems and platforms. You will play a central role in driving infrastructure strategy, ensuring resilience, security, and scalability while supporting the organisation's ongoing digital transformation.
Over the coming years, the business has a strong pipeline of technology initiatives, including further transitioning and optimisation within Microsoft Azure, offering a fantastic opportunity to influence cloud adoption and modern infrastructure practices.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of infrastructure engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
Manage and enhance the organisation's infrastructure landscape across on-premise and cloud environments
Support strategic infrastructure planning aligned with business objectives
Drive best practices across availability, security, performance, and scalability
Play a key role in Azure cloud initiatives and ongoing transformation projects
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technical teams to deliver successful project outcomes
Ensure operational excellence through monitoring, governance, and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
Previous experience leading or mentoring infrastructure teams
Strong background across enterprise infrastructure environments
Experience working with Microsoft technologies and Azure cloud platforms
Solid understanding of networking, servers, virtualisation, and modern infrastructure architecture
Strong stakeholder communication and leadership skills
Passion for developing people and improving technical capability
