Job Title: Part-Time Receptionist (Mornings)
Location: Maresfield- TN22
Hours: 8:30am – 12:30pm, Monday to Friday
We are seeking a professional and organised Part-Time Receptionist to provide an effective and efficient front‑of‑house service at a busy Service Training Centre. This is a key role supporting the delivery of high‑quality training administration services and contributing to operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide a professional, welcoming reception service for all visitors, clients and staff
* Act as the first point of contact for enquiries, responding appropriately and escalating issues where necessary
* Manage incoming telephone calls, handling queries, redirecting calls or taking messages as required
* Co‑ordinate day‑to‑day site security, including:
* Admitting and recording visitors
* Issuing security passes
* Providing site keys where required
* Oversee the registration of delegates attending on-site training courses and events
* Provide administrative support to the Course Administration Team and wider Training Centre personnel
* Carry out data entry tasks using internal systems
* Maintain clear communication with relevant stakeholders regarding any issues or updates
Ideal Candidate
* Previous reception or front‑of‑house experience
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
* Competent IT skills, including data entry systems
* Knowledge and understanding of the Fire Service environment is desirable
