A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a highly respected Legal 500 firm with a fantastic reputation in Clinical Negligence and Healthcare Litigation.
Due to continued growth, the firm is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Solicitor to its established Clinical Negligence team in Liverpool. Working alongside senior colleagues and partners, you’ll take on a complex and high-value caseload of defendant matters for major healthcare organisations, insurers and medical defence bodies.
This is an ideal role for someone seeking greater leadership exposure, with the opportunity to supervise junior colleagues and further refine both technical and managerial skills within a supportive, high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a diverse caseload of defendant clinical negligence claims
* Acting for clients including NHS Resolution, medical defence organisations and independent healthcare providers
* Handling sensitive, high-value litigation with autonomy and confidence
* Providing guidance and support to junior team members
* Delivering commercially-focused, client-led legal advice
About You
* Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 5+ years’ PQE
* Strong track record in defendant clinical negligence litigation
* Experience working with NHS Resolution and/or MDOs preferred
* Excellent drafting, negotiation and case management skills
* Commercially astute with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
* Strong communicator with a collaborative approach
* Previous mentoring or supervisory experience desirable
