The Corporate Asset and Facilities Management (CAFM) Service is responsible for managing and maintaining the organisation’s large and complex estate, comprising 335 assets ranging from sports pavilions to Halifax’s iconic Town Hall.
We are seeking to appoint a Facility Support Operative who will be a key member of the team. The post holder will need practical and organisational skills to carry out and record building compliance checks, undertake minor repairs, perform daily cleaning, and restock public conveniences across Calderdale MBC, along with other duties to ensure the smooth running of our facilities.
You will need to demonstrate a good awareness of health and safety, understanding of building compliance, security, and hygiene issues. The role requires the ability to carry out and record compliance checks, flexibility to work in various locations, and a full driving licence. Weekend work will be required.
