At Snap Children's Home, were preparing to open a brand-new Home and were seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Manager or Deputy Manager to lead our three-bedded childrens home in Nottingham. This role involves providing care and support for children with emotional and behavioural challenges. If you do not hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, we will enrol you in the qualification as soon as you join our team. Main Responsibilities Service: The development and delivery of high-quality care in line with legislation, regulations and the organisation's policies To ensure adherence to safeguarding practices, health and safety compliance, proper record-keeping To provide management reports as required Oversight of admissions and discharges, decision-making, and promoting innovative childcare practices Human Resource Management: To be involved in the recruitment process, ensuring proper induction, supervision, and training Manage staff team development- ensuring all mandatory training requirements are met To maintain effective rotas, handling expenses, and addressing grievances or disciplinary actions Financial and Resource Management: Monitoring of the service budget and ensuring financial targets are met. Responsible for the overall maintenance of premises and equipment. External: Promote the organisation in a positive way with external agencies and general public Foster relationships with commissioners /referrals manager regarding admissions Participate in leadership forums Experience: A minimum level 3 / 4 diploma with experience in senior role working in a Residential Childrens Home A strong working knowledge of EBD and behaviour that challenges A minimum of 2 years experience of working within a Children's Residential Home Excellent communication and organisational skills At least 1 years experience within a Supervisory or Leadership role within a Children's Home setting A minimum Level 3 Residential Child Care Diploma, with a willingness to work towards obtaining a Level 5 Diploma if not already in place Right to Work in the UK Licence/Certification: Driving Licence preferred but not essential Level 4 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care & Children and Young People Services (essential) NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (preferred) Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Company pension Discounted or free food Health & wellbeing programme On-site free parking Bonus scheme Funded Learning Opportunities Referral programme.
