The Assistant Planner supports QVC UK, playing a key role in merchandising and planning by delivering accurate reporting, supporting live and non‑live channel activity, and enabling informed commercial decision‑making across the business. Where You’ll Work
This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at our London (Chiswick) office 2 days a week. Onsite days are predetermined and standard across the company.
What You’ll Do
* You will support the Planning team with accurate and timely reporting, including reorder submissions, inventory downloads, advance order sales and pricing checks, ensuring data integrity at all times.
* You’ll create, maintain and amend live and non‑live show plans and schedules within JAMM, responding quickly to short‑term changes and business priorities.
* You will partner closely with Non‑Live Channels and Programming teams, building shows, managing repeats, reducing clashes and communicating key schedule updates across the business.
* You will monitor performance of promotional activity, teases and shows, providing insight and recommendations to help deliver results with speed.
* Take ownership of defined processes, identifying opportunities to simplify, improve accuracy and work more efficiently in a fast‑moving environment.
What You’ll Bring
* You will have experience in a planning, merchandising or retail support role, with a strong understanding of sales, margin, inventory and commercial KPIs.
* High attention to detail, with confidence working with data, reports and systems to support decision‑making in a live trading environment.
* Strong Excel skills and the ability to learn and navigate multiple systems (experience with merchandise management or scheduling tools is an advantage).
* A proactive, resilient mindset with a positive, can‑do approach, aligned to QVC’s leadership competencies of Realise My Personal Best and Lead with Agility.
* Clear communication skills and a collaborative style, enabling you to build strong relationships across planning, programming and trading teams.
