We are looking for an experienced Digital Learning Designer/Developer to lead the design, development and delivery of high-impact digital learning solutions within a global, multi-disciplinary learning function.
This role will support large-scale learning programmes across R&D, Quality and Commercial teams, delivering engaging and effective digital learning assets to a global user base.
The Role
You will take ownership of the full digital learning lifecycle — from shaping the instructional approach through to development, delivery and optimisation. This will involve both hands-on content creation and coordinating wider resources across development, design and testing.
You will act as a key partner to stakeholders, advising on the most effective learning solutions and ensuring all outputs are aligned to business objectives, user engagement and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of digital learning solutions across a global organisation
* Act as a design consultant, applying instructional design principles to shape effective and engaging learning experiences
* Select and apply the most appropriate authoring tools and technologies to maximise engagement, innovation and cost efficiency
* Own and manage the storyboarding process, translating requirements into structured, high-quality learning content
* Oversee or deliver the build and development of digital learning assets, including coordination of developers, designers and external vendors
* Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards, including testing, validation and compliance with SCORM/AICC and internal guidelines
* Contribute to continuous improvement of digital learning approaches, tools and standards across the organisation
Requirements
* Proven experience in a senior digital learning / e-learning design role (typically 5+ years)
* Strong portfolio demonstrating delivery of interactive, high-quality digital learning solutions
* Advanced capability across leading authoring and design tools, including:
* Articulate 360 / Rise
* HTML5
* Tools such as Captivate, gomo, Synthesia or similar
* Strong understanding of instructional design theory and its practical application
* Experience working in complex, global or regulated environments
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver across cross-functional teams
* Strong attention to detail, organisation and communication skills
* Experience applying AI tools within digital learning or content creation
* Exposure to large-scale learning programmes across global organisations
