We are passionate about developing new technologies to shape a growing marketplace. We are seeking a Purchase Ledger Controller to join our European finance team at our East Yorkshire Office.
You will be responsible for processing and paying supplier invoices in SAP efficiently, managing incoming invoices through our scanning system, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Who We’re Looking For:
* Experience working in a busy environment with the ability to prioritize tasks
* Purchase Ledger or finance experience
* Excellent organizational skills
* Ability to influence and persuade colleagues to complete tasks timely
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Problem-solving skills, especially regarding invoice errors or payment discrepancies
* Educated to GCSE level with a grade C in Maths and English
* Experience with integrated scanning systems, SAP, Excel, and dealing with overseas companies is desirable but not essential
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Verifying documents within the OCR system
* Collaborating with UK and overseas sites
* Processing purchase invoices accurately and promptly
* Resolving invoice queries and escalating as needed
* Preparing and executing weekly/monthly supplier payments
* Reconciling supplier statements regularly
* Improving AP processes and controls
* Participating in calls with sites to discuss process improvements
* Supporting month-end reporting
