Salary: £35,000 - 42,000 per year Requirements: We are looking for a candidate who has recent office administration experience, skilled in accurate record-keeping for both electronic and paper formats. You should have handled Freedom of Information (FOI) and Data Protection requests, and be capable of interpreting and applying policy and legislation effectively. The ideal candidate will be comfortable presenting information in various settings and delivering training to diverse audiences. Proficiency in MS Office, databases, and spreadsheets is essential, along with a strong understanding of FOI, Data Protection Acts, and related legislation. Responsibilities: In this role, you will serve as our statutory Data Protection Officer (DPO). You will stay current with information security legislation and ensure that related policies, procedures, and our company website are updated accordingly. A key part of your responsibilities will involve managing and coordinating responses to Freedom of Information (FOI) and Data Protection requests, ensuring that we provide timely and accurate replies. You will also investigate any data breaches within required timeframes and recommend risk mitigation actions to protect both data subjects and the company. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring secure information handling and reporting security breaches in line with our company policies.
