Your new company Birmingham City Council is seeking a dedicated Senior Practitioner to join our Early Intervention Community Team (EICT). This team was established in 2018 following a Care Quality Commission (CQC) review and system-wide diagnostic of health and social care provision for older people in Birmingham. Your new role As a Senior Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in managing complex caseloads and supporting social care workers within your cluster. You will provide supervision, coaching, and leadership to ensure high-quality practice and improved outcomes for adults.Your responsibilities include: Supervising and overseeing the management of your cluster and promoting a One Team approach. Supporting staff through regular supervision and coaching to drive performance and quality. Managing complex cases, safeguarding, MCA, and Best Interests decision-making. Conducting case file audits and promoting shared learning and continuous improvement. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, alongside health professionals, therapy nurses, and carers.
