Airbus is committed to zero‑carbon flight and sustainability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our Social Policy & Industrial Relations (SPIR) strategy as a Business Partner on the Belfast site.
Responsibilities
* Support the HR Business Leader in achieving company HR objectives.
* Work with the Head of Social Policy and Industrial Relations in the UK to develop and deliver a SPIR strategy that meets the needs of Airbus Belfast Ltd.
* Develop and implement social policy within Airbus Belfast.
* Ensure consultation and negotiation with recognised Trade Unions on a broad range of topics.
* Provide advice and guidance to internal HR customers and Managers on the application of HR policies.
* Assist HR Business Partners with case management.
* Develop and update HR policy in line with business needs and changes in legislation, with particular emphasis on Northern Ireland.
* Communicate policy changes to all user groups and support necessary training.
* Collaborate with Reward Operations and other Centres of Expertise to ensure internal processes support effective administration of UK HR policies.
* Attend specialist Employment Law forums to stay proactive on legislative changes.
* Work closely with external legal advisers on case management and other SPIR projects.
* Develop continuous professional development opportunities and coordinate relevant upskilling for HR and managers in Belfast sites.
Qualifications
* Relevant employment law knowledge, with a strong desire to deepen expertise in Northern Ireland.
* Proven generalist experience with HR policy, procedures and HR tools.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
* High level presentation and influencing skills.
* Experience handling complex employee relations issues.
* Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with Trade Unions.
* Agility to manage operational activities and lead on projects.
* Teamwork, networking and relationship building with a range of customers.
* Excellent organisational and project management skills, proactive in finding business solutions.
* Experience in an HR generalist role, seeking to own projects and develop skills.
* CIPD qualified.
