Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to support the finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately maintaining the purchase ledger, processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
The role is full time with hybrid working available. There is parking on site and your own transport is advised.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process purchase invoices and credit notes accurately and efficiently.
2. Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes.
3. Ensure all invoices are appropriately authorised for payment.
4. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
5. Prepare and perform payment runs.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the purchase ledger.
7. Respond to queries from suppliers and internal departments regarding payments.
