Part time receptionist/customer host
This is a 10 hour contract which entails working a minimum of 10 hours each week, plus overtime as required, including weekends until 9pm as dictated by the needs of the business and our customers. We need applicants to be at least 18 years of age as the job entails serving on a licensed bar from time to time. Salary will be paid in line with the minimum wage for your age.
Job description
The successful candidate will need to have excellent, confident communication skills, both spoken and written.
Responsibilities include;
Making and receiving phone calls
Answering customer queries in person, over the phone and via email.
Dealing with bookings as they arrive, organising customer race wear and arranging race briefings.
Accepting payments and deposits for bookings by either card or cash.
Communicating with other staff regarding bookings and customer requirements.
Helping the team keep the building clean and tidy and reception tidy and organised.
Deal with all customers and visitors in an efficient and enthusiastic manner.
Promoting add on sales and the food and drink offering available to all customers.
Marketing activities to include; emails, phone calls and face to face selling in the building.
There may also be a need to serve in the bar area from time to time and since we have a license applicants need to be 18 years of age and over.
Ensure customers have enjoyed their time with us, encourage social media feedback.
Applicants must be 18 years old or over. As part of a small team of people, the ability to communicate and work along side others is absolutely vital. The successful individual will be organised, an excellent communicator, both written and spoken and capable of delivering excellent customer service and confidently interacting with all customers. This is potentially the most important role in the company as the face and voice that customers first come into contact with and you will need to be capable of making the best of first impressions and leave an excellent lasting impression on our customers after they leave the building.
