Key elements of the job
* Providing clinical leadership within the team
* Provide a range of CAMHS assessment and treatment interventions for children and young people as well as their families/carers who present with emotional and mental health difficulties
* Providing Care Coordinator responsibilities for a caseload of children and young people. There will be a specific focus upon providing clinical assessment, formulation and treatment, including self‑harm assessments where the Voice of the Child is embedded within personalised care planning
* Providing clinical supervision to CAMHS staff
* Demonstrating a commitment to ensuring routine outcome measures are embedded within practice to demonstrate clinical based improvements for children, young people and parents/carers.
Qualifications
You should be able to demonstrate the skills to work with children, young people and their families who may present with various mental health difficulties such as anxiety, emotional dysregulation and low mood. We pride ourselves on working within a strong multidisciplinary team, which is made up of supportive and experienced clinicians. In our team you will have the opportunity to assess children, young people and families and you will be expected to demonstrate experience in providing evidence based treatments and or interventions within your profession applicable to supporting mental health needs of young people.
