Sales Manager Pay : £28,000.00 per year Cover : North West Work Location : Field-based ( can be from any area) Will sometimes need to visit depo in Midlands About the Role : Our client, a leading distributor of high-quality plumbing products, is dedicated to serving the needs of plumber’s merchants across the UK. We are seeking a motivated Sales Manager to join our team and cover the North West and Scotland. This is a fully field-based role, requiring a proactive individual who thrives on building strong relationships and driving sales growth within their designated territory. Key Responsibilities : Regularly visit existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. B2B Sales Manager Growth: Drive sales and profitability by managing and expanding the customer base within the designated area. Achieve sales targets and KPIs set by the company. Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with plumbers’ merchants, ensuring excellent customer service and support. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitor activities. Use this information to inform sales strategies and identify potential growth areas. Product Promotion: Actively promote the company’s range of products, providing detailed product knowledge and technical support to customers. Organize and conduct product demonstrations and training sessions as needed. Reporting and Planning: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review. Sales Manager Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, customer service, and logistics, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction. Support the Sales Manager in executing sales strategies and meeting overall business goals. Qualifications : Sales experience is preferred but not essential. Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge: Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new products and technologies. Attributes: Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a large territory effectively. Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
