An “Outstanding” Ofsted-rated Primary School in the London Borough of Havering (Romford) is seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery or Reception Teacher (EYFS) to join their team either ASAP or from January 2026. This is a full-time, long-term role with the potential to become permanent.
The Opportunity
We are establishing a small, supportive EYFS class designed to meet the needs of pupils working at Nursery or Reception level, including children with SEN. The class will benefit from additional support staff and a nurturing environment to help each child thrive.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference at an early stage in a child’s education journey. You’ll be working with a large, experienced team of outstanding practitioners in a school that values dedication, creativity, and compassion.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a committed Nursery or Reception (EYFS) Teacher who:
* Holds UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
* Has a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
* Is passionate about early years education and supporting SEN learners
* Works well as part of a collaborative team
* Has been graded ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ in lesson observations

The Headteacher is keen to interview and appoint as soon as possible. Lesson observations and interviews will be arranged promptly for suitable applicants.
