OTE GBP £42,000.00/Yr. Overview: Business Development Manager - Automotive Parts. Salary: £32,000 per annum basic plus bonus opportunity of £10,000 per annum, plus company car. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5.30pm, open to discussion.

At Charles Hurst, we seek an ambitious and talented Trade Parts Business Development Manager to join our successful team in Belfast. We desire someone passionate about the automotive industry with extensive knowledge in parts, whether Franchise or After-market.
Our Parts Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and growing trade parts sales within the Trade Hub area, operating from our Trade Parts Hub. Responsibilities include identifying new customers and developing existing ones, building strong relationships with independent garages, body shops, and fleet sectors, and expanding parts ranges purchased.
Key abilities include maintaining product knowledge, working within sales strategies to increase revenue, supporting the Trade Hub team, maintaining accurate customer records, and collaborating with sales and transport managers to identify growth opportunities. Developing strong relationships with tele-sales team members to achieve sales targets is also essential.
Candidates should have prior experience in a similar automotive environment, a proven track record in automotive trade parts, and be IT literate, with knowledge of Excel, Word, and ideally CDK/Kerridge. Experience in monitoring financial performance and addressing shortfalls is required. Excellent communication, negotiation skills, and the ability to influence sales are essential.
