Salary - Industry Professionals (No teaching qualification): £34,000 - £36,000
Qualified Teachers/Lecturers - up to 43,000
Are you an experienced CNC Machinist or CNC Programmer looking to take the next step in your career?
A leading college in Huddersfield is looking to appoint a CNC Programming Teacher / Trainer to work exclusively with NVQ Level 3 Engineering Apprentices in both workshop and classroom environments.
This is an excellent opportunity for either:
* An experienced engineering lecturer/tutor, or
* A highly skilled industry professional looking to move into education.
No previous teaching experience is required for industry candidates - full teacher training and qualifications will be fully funded.
The Role
You will deliver engaging practical and theory-based sessions to Level 3 apprentices, supporting the next generation of engineers in developing their CNC machining and programming skills.
The role will involve:
* Delivering workshop and classroom-based training
* Teaching CNC machining, operating and programming principles
* Supporting and mentoring Level 3 apprentices
* Preparing learners for successful completion of their NVQ qualifications
* Working as part of a supportive engineering and apprenticeship team
Requirements

To be considered, you will need:
* A minimum Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering, CNC Machining or a related discipline
* Strong industry experience in CNC machining, operating and programming
* Passion for developing apprentices and sharing industry knowledge
