Role Responsibility
Your role will include the following duties:
To maintain the day to day running of the Gateway, Terrace and East Gate Cafes & Restaurant and any areas used as part of this operational space to the Company standards, within the agreed specification and to the agreed performance, qualitative and financial targets.
This a customer facing role and all other tasks must be completed out with of key service times and presence within the restaurant is expected during peak business operational hours
* Day to day running of the designated retail spaces, including opening and closes
* Coach and support the team on the ground to deliver exceptional customers service
* Provide support to the Assistant Retail Managers to plan and promote additional activities, seasonal
* promotions and customer engagement
* Adhering to all H&S and Food Safety Laws as set out by the company
* Comply with all legislation
The Ideal Candidate
* · You will be able to comply with all Company & client policies and statutory regulations relating to Health & Safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH. This will include your awareness of any specific hazards in your work place.
* · You will ensure that all relevant checklists have been completed, adhered to and updated as required.
* · You will ensure that sufficient staffing levels are in place at all times to ensure that the retail areas run as smoothly as possible
* · Experience with Cash Reconciliation
* · You can ensure high standards of personal performance, hygiene, appearance and cleanliness at all times
* · You can communicate well and demonstrate a pleasant, polite, efficient, caring and friendly service to customers and clients in all areas of service, which Sodexo provide.
* · You will participate in any necessary training and team meetings as required to complete job responsibilities to the Company’s and Client’s standards health & safety, food hygiene.
* · You can work as a team to promote harmonious working relationships within the Sodexo team
* · Experience with reporting customer complaints or compliments and taking some remedial action if at all possible.
* · You will report immediately any incidents of accident, fire, theft, loss, damage, unfit food, or other irregularities and take such or advice as may be appropriate.
* · You can comply with all Sodexo Company policies/procedures and client site rules and regulations
