Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile HK Multi-Skilled Team Member to join our dynamic team in Novotel Long Eaton, United Kingdom. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of our facility while providing exceptional service to our guests and colleagues.
1. Perform a wide range of cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing various areas of the facility
2. Maintain and organize inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
3. Assist with basic maintenance tasks and report any issues or repairs needed to the appropriate personnel
4. Collaborate with team members to ensure all assigned areas/rooms are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards
5. Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns
6. Follow all health and safety protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
7. Assist with additional tasks as needed, such as laundry services or room setup for events
8. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
9. Dusting bedroom furniture, cleaning surfaces and walls.
10. Making beds, Vacuuming carpets and damp cleaning hard floor areas
11. Cleaning bathrooms, including baths, shows, wash basins, tiles, and toilets
12. Reporting any maintenance issues, and working safely
Qualifications
13. Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role (preferred)
14. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
15. Excellent time management and organizational skills
16. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
17. Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills
18. Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safe use of cleaning equipment
19. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
20. High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
21. Health and safety certifications (preferred)
22. Basic understanding of the hospitality or facilities management industry (beneficial)
