Opened 1999, 40 bedrooms, 53‑seater Bistro & Bar, 4 private event spaces – seating up to 72. 18th century architecture combined with a chic contemporary loft style and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Former Sugar House: a lovingly restored collection of Grade II listed sugar warehouses, transformed into one of the finest boutique hotels in Bristol. About the Role
As Senior Sous Chef you will support the Head Chef by ensuring the team delivers the brand standards in a smooth and consistent manner. You will have the opportunity to develop yourself within our kitchens and also develop a team of staff beneath you. Ideally you will have previously worked at this level and be able to demonstrate your skills when developing the team beneath you.
When you work with us you will receive on‑the‑job training in‑house and collaboration with our training provider to offer nationally recognised apprenticeships. The hotel’s kitchen is a place where 4 head chefs have been promoted from within, with 2 starting their journey as kitchen porters.
