Our well-established client is looking to expand their Service Desk with a Tier 2 Engineer.

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Tier 2 Service Desk Engineer to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in an MSP environment and be comfortable handling various IT challenges, including networking. This role offers the chance to work with a diverse client base, from corporate businesses to football clubs, where technology is vital to operations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide Tier 2 technical support, troubleshooting, and resolving complex IT issues
* Support a diverse customer base across multiple industries
* Collaborate with Tier 1 engineers and escalate issues as needed
* Assist with networking and infrastructure tasks
* Work extra hours on matchdays for additional pay
* Coordinate with the wider technical team, including field engineers
* Participate in knowledge sharing to upskill team members
* Maintain professional communication with clients
Requirements:
* Proven MSP experience is essential
* Strong troubleshooting skills
* Networking and infrastructure support experience
* Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, and Exchange
* Experience with VMware or Hyper-V virtualization
* Knowledge of firewalls, routers, switches
* Experience with RMM tools
* Backup and disaster recovery knowledge
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Customer-focused and proactive attitude
* Flexibility to attend match days on-site, paid at time and a half
