Overview
Electrical Project Manager role at Enlight10. Two long-term contracts secured in the Telford area with additional projects in the pipeline. The role is primarily site-based and involves working with a team of project managers to deliver programmes in the sector.
Responsibilities
* Accountable for the initiation, planning, execution, regulation and final completion of projects in the sector.
* Deliver outputs, manage team operations and achieve agreed project goals within scope to realise commercially successful outcomes, on time, to high quality standards and with strong customer satisfaction.
* Work predominantly on-site with visits to the factory, sites around the UK, consultant offices and client locations as required.
* Be the central point throughout project lifecycles, promoting best practice and company policies at each stage.
* Lead and drive Enlight10 teams (Design Management, Commercial Management, Production, Site Operations and Aftercare) to meet client, project and Enlight10 objectives and ensure seamless delivery.
* Cultivate, own and maintain effective relationships with the client and all stakeholders.
* Develop a detailed project plan and drive teams to meet key milestones.
* Coordinate and manage internal and external resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of projects.
* Develop and manage project and package scopes and objectives with relevant stakeholders and ensure technical feasibility.
* Maintain effective project procedures and processes including Project Execution Plan, briefing and client engagement, detailed planning, progress reporting, design management, cost control, change control, risk and opportunity management, contract management, and management of consultants and subcontractors.
* Handover planning and management with commercial teams; project performance reporting; document management in the Common Data Environment (CDE).
* Adhere to Enlight10 project gateway controls, project delivery systems, and no-surprises communication with clients and internal/external teams.
* Guide projects through planning applications and planning conditions; work with the commercial team on contract negotiations with external vendors; obtain permits and licenses as required.
* Plan construction operations and intermediate phases with the operations team; manage safety to CDM standards; ensure BIM standards and Quality Assurance across factory and site locations.
* Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports; ensure timely close-out of tasks and actions across the team.
Key Skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to convey information clearly
* Solid understanding of BIM requirements related to project management
* Able to chair and lead meetings; exemplary customer service and interpersonal skills
* Strong team player with the ability to work independently
* Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint; quick upskilling on Enlight10 platforms
* Goal-oriented with good organisational skills; problem-solving mindset; attention to detail; ability to multi-task
