JOB OVERVIEW
Due to the growth of the waste industry and recently securing new contracts for 2025, the company has a number of new job opportunities available for candidates who would like to work as a Driver / Operative that have great time-management and organisational skills with the ability to use a SAT NAV.
Working as a Driver / Operative you will be responsible for travelling within a designated territory (60 miles radius from Dunmow, Essex) to empty dog waste and litter bins in parks and public spaces.
As the Driver / Operative this role requires physical fitness with the ability to complete manual handling duties both on your own and within a small team.
DUTIES
Your duties as the Driver / Operative include:
1. Travel within your designated territory to empty dog waste and litter bins in parks and public spaces
2. Perform manual handling duties related to waste collection and disposal
3. Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of waste collection equipment and company vehicle
4. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
5. Report any maintenance or repair requirements promptly
6. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
7. Physically fit and able to handle manual handling duties
8. Great organisational and time-management skills
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
10. Strong attention to detail
11. Good communication skills
12. Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
13. Full UK Drivers Licence
