CV Screen is recruiting for an Accountant for a well-established accounting firm. The role is hybrid with 1 day from home and 4 days in the office based in Bridgwater and a salary of up to £45,000 is available.
ROLE DETAILS
Your role as Accountant will see you provide support for Managers and Directors in providing professional accountancy services to fee-paying clients.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Preparation of limited company statutory financial statements from source records
- Preparing corporation tax computation calculations and basic tax planning
- Experience in the production of management accounts including commentary
- Responsibility for mentoring junior members of staff.
- Reviewing accounts files and taxation computation in readiness for partner final review and sign off.
REQUIRED SKILLS
The Accountant will have the majority of the following experience:
- Accountancy qualification ICAEW/ACCA or qualified by experience.
- Familiar with IRIS/Sage/QuickBooks/ Xero accountancy software
- Proven experience in a similar accountancy role in a practice
- Lives locally to Bridgwater
SALARY:
Basic salary up to £45,000
