Location: Barnsley & Penistone (flexible multi‑site working)
Are you a Commercial Property Solicitor looking for something a bit more hands‑on, where you can genuinely make your mark?
I’m working with a well‑regarded, growing firm that’s known for delivering high‑quality legal services to local businesses and individuals. Due to continued growth and success in the local area, they’re now looking to bring in a Commercial Property Solicitor to strengthen the team.
This is a great opportunity if you’re looking to take ownership of your work, build strong relationships in the local market, and play a key role in developing a commercial property offering.
The role
You’ll be managing your own varied caseload, including:
* Freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals
* Acting for both landlords and tenants on commercial leases
* Lease renewals and variations
* Development work
* Option agreements and overage
* Secured lending and property finance
* Portfolio management
You’ll have the autonomy to run files from start to finish, with support from colleagues when needed – but without unnecessary micromanagement.
What they’re looking for
* Qualified Solicitor (open on PQE – it’s more about the right person)
* Commercially aware with a pragmatic approach
* Strong client relationship skills
* Experience working with SMEs, developers or lenders would be a bonus
