Job Overview
We seek a Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to join our Neurodevelopmental Team, providing services across Merthyr, Rhondda Cynon Taf, and Bridgend. The role involves working with a multidisciplinary team, supporting service development, and liaising with community agencies.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide clinical expertise in Neurodevelopmental Disorders, especially complex cases.
* Support service model development and pathway establishment.
* Engage in liaison work with health staff and community agencies.
* Offer clinical care in various community settings.
* Participate in assessment tools and outcome measures.
* Ensure high performance reporting and clinical governance.
* Maintain professional competence and adhere to safeguarding procedures.

Person Specification
* Qualifications: MB BS or equivalent (essential); MRCPsych or higher (desirable).
