Year 4 Teaching Assistant - 2-Form Entry Primary School in IslingtonFull-time | Long-term | £90-£97 per day (PAYE)
A vibrant and inclusive 2-form entry primary school in Islington is looking for a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support their Year 4 class from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term role for the entire academic year until July 2026.
This is a great opportunity for a confident Teaching Assistant who enjoys supporting learning in Key Stage 2 and is committed to making a positive impact in the classroom.
Key Information:
* Start Date: September 2025
* Location: Islington
* Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 3:45pm
* Daily Rate: £95 - £102 per day (PAYE)
* Contract: Long-term until July 2026
As a Year 4 Teaching Assistant, You Will:
* Provide general classroom support in a lively Year 4 class
* Work closely with the class teacher and Year 4 team in this 2-form entry setting
* Offer 1:1 and small group support where needed, including for pupils with additional needs
* Help maintain positive behaviour and support pupil engagement in lessons
* Assist in preparing learning resources and activities
We're Looking for a Teaching Assistant Who:
* Has previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school
* Is confident supporting Key Stage 2 learners, especially in Year 4
* Has experience supporting pupils with SEND or additional needs
* Demonstrates strong behaviour management and communication skills
* Is proactive, reliable, and enthusiastic about education
