Daly Recruitment is exclusively partnering with a Belfast-based client to appoint a Sales and Business Opportunities Manager to join their commercial team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales professional to step into a leadership role within a respected organisation operating across domestic and international markets. You will lead the Sales and Business Opportunities team, drive proactive sales activity, and build strong relationships across tourism, corporate and industry networks to support continued growth.
Working closely with the Head of Sales & Business Opportunities, you will help shape sales strategy and deliver against visitor, revenue and KPI targets, while collaborating with internal teams to ensure an exceptional client journey from enquiry to guest experience.
The Role
This role combines strategic sales leadership with hands-on relationship management.
Key aspects of the position include:
Leading and motivating the Sales and Business team to deliver strong commercial results
Developing and implementing proactive sales strategies aligned with revenue and visitor targets
Building and nurturing relationships with business and leisure clients across key markets
Representing the organisation at trade shows, tourism events and industry networking opportunities
Monitoring sales performance and identifying opportunities for growth
Working closely with marketing, hospitality and operational teams to ensure exceptional client delivery
Keeping abreast of market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities
The Person
We are keen to speak with candidates who bring both commercial awareness and strong relationship-building ability.
You will likely have:
A minimum of 3 years’ experience within tourism, leisure, events or agency environments
A strong track record in proactive B2B sales.
Experience working towards KPIs and revenue targets
The ability to influence and negotiate effectively with key decision makers
Experience leading or managing a team.
Essential:
A full valid passport is required as international travel will form part of the role
A full clean driving licence is required.
Eligibility:
All candidates must be eligible to work in the UK, and be able to attend interviews onsite in Belfast.
