Description
Develop and implement automation strategies for logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and integrate automation solutions into existing operations and for future new sites.
Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and vendors to meet automation objectives.
Conduct feasibility studies and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Monitor and optimise the performance of automated systems to ensure maximum productivity.
Lead project management activities, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk assessments.
Provide technical guidance and training to internal teams on automation tools and systems.
Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements in all automation initiatives.Profile
A successful Logistics Automation Solutions Design Manager should have:
A strong background in logistics, automation design, or a related field.
Proven experience in integrating automated solutions into logistics or supply chain operations.
Technical knowledge of automated logistics solutions, systems, and emerging technologies.
Experience with AutoCad, Sketchup. Class or similar tools for warehouse layouts
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage budgets and timelines.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify inefficiencies and propose effective solutions.
Familiarity with compliance standards and regulations in the logistics sector.
There will be regular UK travel as well as occasional international travel to visit other facilitiesJob Offer
