Job summary:
Essentially the role involves placing GP Doctors and Primary Care Clinicians into temporary locum positions with various different types of healthcare client. These clients vary from local GP surgeries and Out of Hours Providers. The Consultant must look after and manage a stable of Candidates in a way that ensures the company take full advantage of the resources opportunities that these candidates provide in order to maximize revenue.
A stable of clients that provide repeat business must also be looked after and provided with first-class service. Relationships must be maintained and continually improved upon. The Recruitment Consultant will also be expected to continually add to this number of clients by developing and fostering relationships with potential clients.
The role requires someone to be motivated and target driven, there is an uncapped bonus system for achieving these KPIs and targets.
Main Duties: The main duties fall into four distinct categories Development, Relationship building, Customer Service and Administration. Development: Using all communication methods; email, fax, telephone, the post holder will be able to effectively develop relationships with both candidates and clients. Highlighting the benefits and features of the company and the differences they offer our customers.
Therefore the right candidate should be computer literate, confident in an office environment, comfortable talking to people and be a clear and effective communicator. Although this is not a hard sell position the post holder will able to build relationships well, overcome objections and handle difficult situations professionally and equitably.
Hence the candidate needs to be articulate. Self motivation, focus and an ability to turn a negative into a positive are qualities that are ideal for this role. Customer service: Behind every good Consultant is a customer service representative who knows that making the placement isnt the end of the job. An ability to empathise with the customer needs, to actively listen to their requirements and to solve problems quickly and efficiently will help in the success of this role.
Previous experience in a customer service capacity is a minimum requirement when applying for this position. Administration: Quality assurance is of paramount importance in the market that The company operates. We must ensure that all of our candidates have the correct qualifications, are registered and checked with the relevant authorities and have the correct and up to date insurances.
This must all happen before a GP Doctor is sent out on any assignment. The Consultant must ensure this is done through thorough record keeping and excellent administration skills. A
good level of written English is necessary along with proficiency in MS Word, Outlook and Excel. Being well organized and meticulous are just as important as effectively writing a letter or filling in a form. We have a bespoke database that also needs to be constantly up to date. Core Duties: Outgoing Calls - calling around and contacting clients (GP Surgeries, OOH providers) Dealing with Client queries and questions. Taking job bookings; directing calls correctly Outgoing Calls Calling around the candidates offering positions. Verifying times worked in order to get timesheets authorized. Secondary Duties: Admin Ensure all Candidate information is up- to-date. Chasing outstanding timesheets. Updating Data Base for both Clients and Candidates. Completing all confirmations and paperwork associated with Clients and Candidates. Attending Conferences and Clients and Candidates meetings if needed. Hours - 830 -5pm with flexible work from home options 2 days per week.
