Job overview
To provide Spiritual, Religious and Pastoral Care to Patients, Families, Carers, Volunteers and Staff in a Multi Faith Team setting.
Main duties of the job
NELFT Chaplaincy is looking to employ an experienced Band 6 chaplain with experience in both physical and mental healthcare settings.
The candidate will have had experience of working both generically and in accordance with their own faith tradition in a multifaith team and will need to have excellent communication skills supporting and providing religious, spiritual and pastoral care to patients, families, carers, volunteers and staff.
They will need to be a member of one of the main Chaplaincy professional bodies or at least in the process of obtaining membership.
They will also need to demonstrate good standing within their local faith community through formal sponsorship. This post is for one day per week.

High Cost Area Supplement – Outer London
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,714 to a maximum of £5,941 per annum pro rata for part time).
