We're now looking for a Transport Controller/FLM to oversee and optimise our transportation operations, ensuring efficient logistics management, compliance with safety regulations, and effective coordination among teams to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
* Review driver resource to match customer daily distribution plan
* Manage driver holiday allocation
* Track team and individual performance of your employees (Microlise, Tacho infringements, Contextual Speeding, Accidents)
* Review individual performance during monthly one to one
* Manage accident investigation and retraining/formal sanctions if required
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
* Minimum of 1 year experience in team management
* Excellent organisational skills
* Knowledge of working time legislation - preferred
* Background in transport operations - preferred
