ES Recruit are currently recruiting for experienced Structural Steel Platers on behalf of Newbridge Engineering based in Hartlepool.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and growing heavy engineering workshop working on large structural steel projects with long-term work available.
Job Role
* Plating and fabricating structural steel
* Reading and working from engineering drawings
* MIG welding for tacking and small fillet welds
* Working within a heavy fabrication workshop
* Using overhead cranes safely and efficiently
Pay Rates
* £18.00 per hour PAYE
* £23.20 per hour Umbrella/Ltd
Overtime Rates
* Time and a half for evenings and Saturdays until 12pm
* Double time after 12pm Saturday onwards
Working Hours
Monday - Thursday: 07:30am - 5:00pm
Friday: 07:30am - 4:00pm
30-minute unpaid break daily.
Requirements
* Previous structural steel plating experience
* Able to read engineering drawings
* MIG welding experience for tacking and small fillets
* Experience using overhead cranes
* Reliable with a strong work ethic
* Health & safety conscious
