This role is crucial for producing precision components that meet high-quality standards. The successful applicant will work with various materials and be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join our precision engineering team based near Farnborough. This is a permanent evening shift position, offering the opportunity to work with high-quality machinery in a clean and modern workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Set, operate, and program CNC turning machines to produce precision components to engineering drawings and specifications.
Work with a variety of materials, ensuring quality standards are consistently met.
Carry out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks using appropriate measuring equipment.
Make program adjustments as required to ensure dimensional accuracy.
Maintain machines and work area in a safe, clean, and efficient manner.
Work to tight tolerances and deadlines while ensuring efficiency and accuracy.Requirements:
Proven experience as a CNC Turner in a precision engineering environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
