About The Role

We are seeking a flexible, committed, and enthusiastic Supply Teacher to work across a range of primary year groups in Plymouth. This is a key role providing cover for planned and unplanned staff absences, including sickness, training days, and other leave.

As a supply teacher, you will deliver high-quality teaching based on existing lesson plans and resources, ensuring a smooth continuation of learning.

You’ll be expected to step into various classroom environments, quickly build rapport with pupils, and manage behaviour in line with the school’s policies.

This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety, are highly adaptable, and thrive in dynamic settings.

We are looking for a passionate and adaptable Supply Teacher to join our team and support learning across Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.

You'll step in when class teachers are absent, delivering engaging lessons, managing the classroom effectively, and ensuring continuity in pupils’ learning.

This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers who thrive on variety, enjoy working with different children and staff teams, and want to make a meaningful impact — even in a short-term role.

10. Liaise with support staff (TAs, SENCOs, phase leaders) to understand pupil needs.

11. Share updates and feedback with permanent staff to ensure smooth continuity.

12. Uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
