We’re looking for a proactive and highly organised PA to join our established team, providing dedicated support to the Basildon based leadership team. What you'll do as a Personal Assistant
1. Provision of direct assistance to Operations VP and other VPs, including monitoring and managing their mailboxes, processing incoming and outgoing mail to ensure proper categorisation, allocation, and actioning.
2. Actively managing the VP's calendar, making decisions on meeting requests and organising relevant briefing packs/papers.
3. Coordinating material for meetings and organising travel requirements.
4. Managing business expenses.
5. Acting as the first point of contact for correspondence and phone calls.
6. Managing databases and electronic filing systems.
7. Maintaining and updating intranet pages.
What we need from you
You should have experience supporting a leadership team in a PA role and be passionate about your work. Essential skills include:
1. Ability to work on own initiative.
2. Excellent customer service skills with proven experience in delivering high-quality, customer-focused service.
3. Effective time management and workload organisation to meet deadlines, with accuracy and attention to detail.
4. Flexible communication skills adaptable to different requirements and audiences.
5. Proficiency in IT software such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
6. A range of administrative and organisational skills.
7. Problem-solving abilities for routine issues.
8. Capability to manage multiple priorities.
9. Resilience, forward-thinking, and a challenging approach.
10. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
11. Support to the wider PA team when required.
