HOURS: 40 hours per week
ROTATING SHIFTS: Week 1, Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 3 pm,
Week 2 Monday to Friday 12:30 pm to 9 pm
1 in 2 Saturday mornings paid at overtime rate
APPRENTICE LEVEL: Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Parts Operations
DURATION: 39 months, including EPA
Renault Trucks is one of the leading truck manufacturers offering Transport Solutions. With the continued growth of the Renault Trucks product, winning awards and ongoing market launches of a wider Electric Truck and Van portfolio, we have a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career, someone looking to change career or a school leaver, to join our Parts Team in Bellshill as a Parts Apprentice.
This dedicated 3-year programme is delivered with GTG and will help you build your knowledge and skills to become a great Parts Advisor. You’ll learn how to give a great customer experience, ordering parts to customers, processing returns and payments and carrying out stock checks.
This is us, your new colleagues:
We are a small team, with a Parts Supervisor, and a Parts Advisor so you’ll get involved in everything we do and gain lots of hands-on experience throughout your apprenticeship.
What does a Parts Advisor do?
1. Helps customers order the right parts for their vehicle, face to face and over the phone
2. Give quotes for parts
3. Help solve any customer problems
4. Process sales transactions, including raising invoices and credits for goods supplied and handling returns
5. Co-ordinate with other departments, such as the service desk and the workshop
6. Compile parts from job cards for repairs being carried out in the workshop.
7. Ensures they have current product knowledge

What Qualifications are Required?
14. Minimum 5 National 5s (Grade C/4 or above) in English and Maths

16. You have a genuine interest in automotive and are excited by the prospect of working with our fantastic range of commercial vehicles
17. You like working as part of a team and enjoy solving problems
18. You have good communication skills, both over the phone and face to face
19. Good attention to detail as you will be working with parts numbers when ordering parts for our customers
20. Good IT skills with an ability to pick up new systems and processes quickly
