The role:
As a member of the Welsh Language Development Team, the post holder will play an essential role in the development of Welsh language skills across Gower College campuses to develop a Welsh medium / bilingual ethos.
* 7.5 hours (1 day) per week
* 1 year fixed term
* £6,062 - £6,672 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure that all learners have the opportunity to develop their bilingual skills and where appropriate develop their confidence to use their Welsh language skills in and out of the classroom
* Advise and encourage students to follow courses through the medium of Welsh or bilingually and deliver Welsh language awareness raising sessions
* Support students studying through the medium of Welsh or bilingually
* Work with teaching staff to assist Fluent Welsh students
