A London based housing organisation is seeking a Procurement Manager to play a key role in delivering strategic, high-value procurement solutions across a diverse range of goods and services. This role sits within a newly structured commercial procurement function, designed to strengthen category management, supply chain engagement, and business partnering across the organisation.
Key Duties
* Develop and deliver category and sourcing strategies that align with organisational objectives and optimise value, quality, service, and sustainability.
* Lead end-to-end procurement activity for complex, large contracts across both public and private sector environments.
* Build and maintain strong market insight by analysing supply trends, risks, and opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
* Manage and negotiate high-value contracts, ensuring robust commercial outcomes and full compliance with public procurement regulations.
* Prepare and manage detailed tender and contract documentation, utilising standard forms and templates where appropriate.
* Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver tailored procurement solutions.
* Collaborate with colleagues across the commercial procurement team to embed category management and business partnering approaches.
* Support the ongoing transformation and continuous improvement of procurement services.
Client Requirements
* Experence within repairs, maintennace and construction.
* Significant experience delivering end-to-end procurement activity, with strong knowledge of UK Public Procurement Regulations.
* Proven track record of managing complex, high-value procurement exercises using a range of routes to market
* Demonstrable experience working across both public and private sectors, ideally within a housing or built environment context.
