Job Description
To ensure accurate communication with relevant staff and provide support to patients, carers, and staff as appropriate. Act as a supportive team member at all times, including:
1. Working collaboratively to complete daily administrative tasks efficiently.
2. Processing inward and outward transfer of records and liaising with other Trusts regarding records.
3. Handling discharge summary letters and ensuring they are sent to the correct professionals.
4. Accurately filing information.
5. Answering incoming calls and dealing with enquiries proactively.
6. Managing correspondence and information received by the service in conjunction with other staff.
7. Scanning relevant documentation such as patient notes, timetables, site information, and notices.
8. Monitoring stationery supplies and supporting in ordering stock and goods.
9. Liaising with GPs, patients, and other stakeholders.
10. Performing general administrative duties as required.

* Communication of interview arrangements via email; regular checking of email is advised.
* Staff recruited from outside NHS may be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.
* All new appointments (excluding Medical & Dental roles) are subject to a 26-week probation period.

Qualifications and Experience
* Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
* NVQ Level 3 in Business/Administration or equivalent knowledge and experience.
* Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Desirable Criteria
* ECDL certification.
* IT literacy.
