Key Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver emergency training and exercises for operational and tactical response teams.
* Coordinate cross-functional incident response strategies and embed lessons learned.
* Develop and maintain emergency response tools, procedures, and facilities.
* Represent the organisation in national forums and with key stakeholders.
* Support the evolution of emergency arrangements for future energy systems (eg, hydrogen).
Skills and Experience
* Experience in emergency planning or incident response (Category 1 or 2 responder experience ideal).
* Knowledge of the Civil Contingencies Act, JESIP, or safety legislation (COMAH, PSR, GSMR).
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Calm, clear-headed thinking in high-pressure situations.
* Qualifications in emergency planning or business continuity.
* Experience in the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.
